10.00 - 12.30 - Practical implementation of new mental health legislation
Practical workshop on amendments of the Mental Health Act and experience to date, problems and issues that have arisen implementing these in practice.
14.00 - 16.30 Healthcare investigations workshops
A review of the different types of investigation (e.g. police, HSE, CQC, coroners), the powers the investigators have, report and statement writing, the right to disclosure of documents and practical tips on dealing with such investigations.
