Highgrove Lodge

Highgrove Lodge is an enhanced community based rehabilitation service for people recovering from Mental Illness, or who have a diagnosis of Personality Disorder. Offence related work can be undertaken by our Forensic Psychology Team. CBT and Trauma Recovery work is also available. The focus of the programme is on the development of service users so that they can achieve a pathway to independence in the community. This is achieved through a recovery focused approach which develops independent living skills whilst having support from a full Multi Disciplinary Team.

The service consists of single sex accommodation with 9 male beds, and 7 female beds, with communal living facilities including a Therapeutic kitchen, IT Suite and large Lounge with smaller therapy lounges that can accommodate one to one and group sessions. There is also a large therapeutic garden offering a horticultural program.

As part of our Recovery Pathway, this service offers step down from Medium and Low Secure Hospitals . The service can also accept direct transfers from other Rehabilitation services. Highgrove Lodge can also be accessed for individuals living in the community whose placements are breaking down and who would benefit from a period of time in a more structured environment.

Highgrove Lodge is located in a residential area which is a short distance from Central Croydon with excellent transport links, and is only 20 minutes to Central London .
