OPENING 2010
Highwoods House is a supported, step down rehabilitation unit for patients with mental health problems.
- Module-based programme to full independent living
- Focus on coping strategies, relapse prevention, daily living skills and social integration, appropriate behaviour and communication
- Continued outcome measurements
- Vocational involvement and training
- Integration with local mental health teams
- Access to the multi-disciplinary team if necessary, minimising the need for
re-admission to secure setting.
