Art therapy - used as a form of psycho-therapy - is a unique approach that often unlocks patients creativity, confidence and creates a sense of achievement.

Patients at the Langford Centre experienced the benefits of Art Therapy first hand by joining a Watercolours art group. All patients used the same landscape but every piece of work produced was completely unique. A patient or two lacked confidence at first, but soon produced very creative pieces of artwork.

'As an artist and a teacher I know how relaxing painting can be and how effective it is in raising self esteem. I hope I passed on some of this to my band of happy artists.' Art therapist at the Langford Centre.
