St James Road

St James Road is an enhanced supported living service which provides accommodation for 5 young male adults with a mild to moderate learning disability who may have associated mental health needs as well as behaviours that impact on social relationships.

The service model focuses on providing tenants with packages of support tailored to their individually assessed needs in order to reduce risks, both within the service and the wider community, promote independence, and engage in education and employment to achieve positive social inclusion.

An emphasis is placed on developing pathway plans to enable individuals to move through the service over the course of 18 to 24 months, encouraging further transition into independent community living.
